London 2012 Olympic torch relay day 28 (15th june)

It’s been a busy day today here in Tyneside as the olympic torch relay rolled into town. Naturally, I spent the afternoon running around catching up with it at various places!

The day ended somewhat spectacularly with Chief Scout, TV star and adventurer, Bear Ghrylls delivering the olympic flame to the awaiting crowds in the Newcastle Quayside by zip-wire from the Tyne Bridge. A sight well worth seeing!

Anyway, after all that running around taking photos of the relay I’m feeling suitably knackered myself now so am off to bed!

Night all!
