Lancaster Cycling Club Championship 10 mile Time Trial, Tom Phillips

As is tradition throughout the spring and summer Bank Holiday Mondays, today saw Lancaster Cycling Club members racing on the fast Levens 10 mile trial course. This being the event designated as the club championship, a good field of 25 riders made the trip to the course that has previously seen national competition records set by the like of Tour De France winner Bradley Wiggins.

Despite the threat of rain later on in the morning the race was run in good conditions with only a moderate wind for the riders to contend with which didn’t seem to stop riders from posting some highly respectable times.

Full results will be posted on the LCC facebook page ( once they have been verified by the timekeeper.
